Remix Statement
“Take the brilliant music of Snowbombing and combine it with the jaw dropping wow factor of Tignesfest, throw in Xfm's The Remix rocking dance music programming, and Secret Garden Party's charm, and you have the recipe for a truly unforgetable holiday experience.”
Eddy Temple Morris November 2008
Since launching The Remix, Xfm ’s legendary (and Sony Award nominated) crossover radio show/club night eight years ago , Eddy Temple-Morris has become the undisputed champion not just of genre-hopping but of genre- breeding , slipping enough pills into dance music’s pint until it finds itself curled up in the corner of the room with rock’s dangly bits in its mouth. Nominated for a Sony Award , The Remix was the first of its kind to dedicate a show completely to remixes, bootlegs and the work of up and coming producers whilst simultaneously becoming the flagship for a completely new genre of dance rock crossover. It was the first in the world to debut the work of acts such as Pendulum, Reverend and The Makers, Kasabian, Mylo, Paul Epworth, The Freelance Hellraiser and Jacknife Lee . The show is now the biggest specialist show on Xfm and the only one that is mainlined into XFM’s national broadcasting network.
